I’m very happy to announce (to anyone who’s curious) that I stayed within the grocery budget last month!! Hurray! Although no one is quite as pleased about this as my 50%-Dutch-Ancestry husband, I’m pretty happy about it. And the best part is, the majority of expenditures were produce!
Could this mean that buying organic produce and having it delivered to your front door every week could actually save you money??!!
Hmm, makes me wonder. . . It’ll be interesting to see how much I spend this month! I’ll be sure to keep you posted!
Greenling (produce and fresh cream) -$176.60
Azure Standard– $121.74
Tom Thumb (misc. items-darn you expensive, convenient, neighborhood grocery store!)-$52.60
Kroger – $7.84
Wal-Mart (TP, detergents, soaps, paper products)- $14.63
Liquor Store (gin-Yes, I said gin.) – 12.92
Swanson’s (organic soy sauces)-$13.66
Sunburst Superfoods (raw, organic cacao butter)- $19.96
