- Dash of dried ginger
- Dash of black pepper
- 2 scallions, chopped
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
- Pour over cooked stir fry and simmer for 2 minutes.
Suggested Stir Fry Ingredients. . .
1 bunch fresh or 1 pckg. frozen organic broccoli trees (frozen tends to get mushy so fresh is much better!)
1 cup diced organic carrots
Optional; you can add or substitute any stir fry-type veggies such as green or red bell pepper, mushrooms, those tiny baby corn-on-the-cobs, onion chunks, etc. .
1 lb. grassfed beef, pastured pork, pastured chicken, or shrimp
2 T olive oil
1 bunch organic sliced green onion
2 cups cooked sticky rice (here’s my super easy recipe)
Pour the olive oil in the pan and turn on the stove to its highest setting. Watch the oil carefully, and AS SOON as it looks hot (starts smoking), put in the meat. Sautee, stirring often, until meat looks browned on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside. Add more oil if needed, and repeat the above process with the diced carrots. Sautee for only 3 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside. Add the broccoli (Note; fresh broccoli only needs to sautee for 2 minutes. If using frozen, add 2 T water and cover. Cook for 5 min. or until heated through)
Today I only had pork, broccoli, and onions on hand for the veggies, so that’s what I used! It only takes 10-15 minutes total to sautee everything.
After you’ve sauteed your meat and all your veggies, turn off the heat and put cooked meat and veggies back into the pan. Add the sliced green onions and the sauce. Toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Simmer for a minute or two. . .
Serve over cooked rice.
