Or heavens-to-Betsy QUADRUPLE it!
The inspiration for this recipe came from the fact that I get overwhelmed by the plethura of smoothie recipes available. I usually just ‘wing it’, throwing random amounts of organic fruit, dairy-free milk, vanilla, and sweetener into the blender in hopes of a great outcome.
After making quite a few frozen organic fruit smoothies over the past few years, I’ve decided to change my ‘hit or miss’ style to an easy to remember recipe that consistently turns out great.
The secret to this Easy To Remember Organic Fruit Smoothie Recipe is to use frozen organic fruit. Costco has great prices on big bags of frozen organic fruit. I try to keep my freezer stocked with at least two different kinds, especially in the Summer.
This recipe does NOT call for ice. I have found that adding ice to a smoothie waters down the flavor, and who wants that?!
I also buy frozen organic strawberries from Aldi sometimes. They are wonderful- SO flavorful! They’re a little more expensive than Costco’s organic frozen fruit, but at $2.69/ 12 oz. bag they’re still a great price!
