Hot chocolate makes a great after-school snack beverage on a chilly day! Made it for my kids just the other day and as always, it was a big hit! 🙂
3 T dry cocoa powder
1/2 c. organic rice milk
1 T vanilla
3 cups organic rice milk
Combine cocoa and sugar. I mix them in a cream pitcher, gravy boat, or measuring cup (anything with a spout) because it will be easier to pour from later.
Add 1/2 c. rice milk and stir (it’s ok if it’s bubbly and not very well combined)
Microwave on high for 1 minute.
Stir well to remove any lumps of cocoa powder.
Add cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Stir.
Pour, evenly divided, into 3 mugs.
Add 1 c. rice milk to each mug. Stir.
Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
