(The candy canes pictured ARE 100% organic, by the way. )
I’m so excited to be writing the last post of my two-year experiment to find out how much it costs to eat an organic food diet!
2015 marked the beginning of actually eating a 100% organic food diet, so I’m very excited to soon be posting about this!!
But as for December 2014, we spent $866.17. This does NOT include spending for Christmas treats. As with all of my organic food spending posts, special ocassions like holidays, birthdays, and trips are not included.
I’m curious how much we spend for just the ordinary foods that we eat everyday. Holiday spending varies so much depending on where we are, whether we’re hosting or not, etc. . .
Here’s how our December 2014 organic food spending breaks down;
Amazon Grocery– $0
Azure Standard– $0
Bountiful Baskets– $0
Trader Joe’s– $47.68
Truth Hill Farm– $0
Super 1 Foods– $0
Natural Grocers– $96.26
