I’ve recently discovered the amazing-ness that is Byodynamic Farming. I first read about it online as I was googling organic wines and ran across the Organic Wine Company.
Organic wine is sort of the last man standing when it comes to transitioning our diet to 100% organic. Well, wine and gin & tonics. Organic alcohols are SO much more expensive, and since we don’t drink that much of them I haven’t prioritized organic-izing them!
But I’m thinking about it. . . and getting closer to taking the leap to organic wine. When we do, I would love to take things to the next level and buy Byodynamic Organic wine!
Here is the link to the article that I read about it on the Organic Wine Company’s website. . . basically, farming is done not only organically, but also in sync with the phases of the moon. Isn’t that fascintaing?! (I knew there was a reason I put the phases of the moon on my website. )
So after discovering that byodynamic farming is a thing, I of course had to find out where I can buy byodynamic, organic foods. So far, I’ve found the following brands. . .
- Lakewood Juices
- Delallo Pastas
Oh and both of these are available on Google Express!! I only buy Lakewood juice once in a while, since it is so much more expensive than the frozen organic juice concentrate that I normally buy. But man, now that I know how much healthier it is, it is tempting. . .
Delallo pastas cost more than twice as much as the organic penne pasta I buy from Costco. So that won’t be happening immdiately either. But mabye sooner than I think. . .
