I am all for crossing cultures. I mean, my father is Ethiopian and my mother was from the Midwest (Swedish and German ancestry). My handsome hubby is of Dutch/English ancestry (although he thinks he’s 100% Dutch). So we’re definitely not afraid to mix cultures in my family. But when I saw those Asian pears in the Local Box a few weeks ago, I just had to try adding them to an Asian-style stir fry with easy Sweet Stir Fry Sauce! The result is a savory dish with a hint of sweetness from the pears. Pear (ha) with rice or noodles for an easy meatless meal any day of the week!
