I love homemade almond cream in my morning coffee-mmm! It also makes an incredible Orange Almond Julius!
Basically, I use it whenever I want to add some richness to a recipe. Almond cream isn’t as rich as cashew cream, so it’s perfect for beverages and things that need just a hint of added richness.
Recently, I used it to make some yummy Pumpkin Pie Tarts. Recipe coming soon!
1 c. almonds, soaked for at least 24 hours
1 c. boiled or distilled water
1. Drain and rinse almonds.
2. Combine with water and blend on high until smooth.
3. Strain through a nut milk bag.
